Stay safe all the time with the emergency button feature coming soon

FlexiCarpool has an emergency alert button in its app to ensure your safety at every level. Add up to 3 emergency contacts along with a default alert to the administrator through this special feature. The contacts need to be verified before they qualify to receive alerts during any emergency.

Once you activate this feature, in case of an emergency, it sends your location to the administrator and to all verified contacts every 2 minutes. For additional safety, we also advise that you do share each of your rides with your contacts every time you travel.

Ladies Only / Gender Preference (GP) Option

For the convenience of commuters who favour a preferred set of co-travelers, we provide the GP option. It allows you to choose whether you want your co-travelers to be men or women. Or it doesn’t really matter.

GP option works either ways, whether you are a Car Owner or a passenger, you can set your gender preference at the time posting/booking a ride. The app is enabled to show you only the options of your preference.

At the same time, FlexiCarpool allows you the option of no preference for carpoolers who are open to traveling with both or either men and women.

The Process

Once you install this app on your phone, you have to register yourself as a user to ensure that carpooling is a safe venture for both a rider and car-owner.

Be a rider or a car-owner or both

Validate your identity-based documents

Car-owners have to submit their valid vehicle registration number, manufacturers details, model and insurances expiry date along with a valid RC.

Its time for Car Owners to Post A Ride now.

Just fill in the following details:

Pick Start point & End point

Pick Date (of the ride), start time in HH:MM

Choose a preferred gender of co-passengers

Choose route from the options shown on the map

If you have registered multiple vehicles, select one for the current ride

Click on Post A Ride to submit.

Go through ratings and profiles of Riders who sign up for your ride and select your preferred one

All you now have to do is to show up at the designated spot, pick your rider and get paid Rs 3/km for the distance travelled.

Riders have to Book A Ride with following details:

Pick Start point & end point

Pick number of co-passengers you travelling with you on this ride

Date (of the ride), start time in HH:MM

Choose a preferred gender of car-owners

Select from options on desired routes & car-owners

Go through ratings and profiles of Car Owners posted on your ride and select your preferred one

Review your rides and share your experience.
